In response to COVID-19, Academic Arts High School has had to make some adjustments to our nutrition program. We are excited to announce that starting with the 2020-2021 school year, we will be implementing a progressive approach to offering breakfast and lunch to our students by using a contracted vending machine service. Students will have safe access to budget friendly and nutritious options for lunch and breakfast. In addition, students will be able to purchase snacks and beverages during specific times of the day. We feel confident that this service will be a great fit for our community.

In previous years, we have always provided breakfast and lunch to ALL students at no cost to families. Ultimately we would prefer to continue doing so, however, it is not financially sustainable. Under our new nutrition program, we will still provide free and reduced meals for students who qualify. Students who do not qualify for free and reduced meals will be responsible for purchasing their own meals. So that we can determine eligibility for free and reduced meals, you will need to complete the Nutrition Benefits form. It can be found below.

Nutrition services will be available for students once we shift into Stage 3 of our Learning Roadmap, with limited options available in Stage 2. We will continue to post resources regarding community wide access to food via Parent Square.
